True North Basecamp Booking Policy
Reservation / Cancellation Guidelines Guarantee
To guarantee your cabin, cabin tent, or campsite, your credit card will be charged for the total stay when you make your reservation. You’ll receive an email confirmation once your reservation is complete.
Need to cancel? Text 218-833-2267 or email info@truenorthbasecamp.com before the deadlines listed below to receive your refund, minus a cancellation fee. Cancellations are not final until a cancellation email is received.
Cabin, Campsite & Cabin Tent Sites: 14-day cancellation notice is required. Notify True North Basecamp by 4 p.m. CST 14 days before your arrival.
Reservations made after these deadlines are nonrefundable, and cancellations made after deadlines result in forfeiture of payment. Holidays and special events may have special deposit and cancellation requirements. Special conditions may apply during high-demand periods and special events.
Gift Cards: True North Basecamp is not responsible for lost, damaged, or stolen cards. Gift cards cannot be redeemed for cash.

Occupancy
Cabins and cabin tents can accommodate a maximum of 5 people. Additional tents are not allowed near the cabins or cabin tents. Tent sites are limited to two 6-person tents.
Pet Policy
$25 per night per pet for cabins & cabin tents / $10 per night per pet for campsites and cabin tents (limit of two pets, up to 40 lbs each).
Pets must be crated when left alone in cabins, cabin tents, and at campsites, and leashed while in common areas.
The credit card on file for the reservation will be charged $250 if any damage is caused by the pet(s).
Damage
You are liable for any damage caused to the cabin(s), cabin tent(s), or property by you or any persons/pets in your party (whether or not staying at True North Basecamp) during your stay. True North Basecamp reserves the right to retain your credit card or debit card details and charge such amounts as it deems necessary to compensate for the loss, damage, or expenses incurred.
True North Basecamp further reserves the right to commence legal proceedings against you without notice if necessary.
Release of Liability
True North Basecamp guests, for themselves and any of their registered children, agree as follows:
True North Basecamp LLC dba True North Basecamp, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents make no warranty or representation of any kind as to conditions existing or that may hereafter exist upon the True North Basecamp premises, including but not limited to cabins, tent cabins, and campsites occupied by other guests or their property (“True North Basecamp Property”).
Guests enter the property at their own risk, expressly accept the property in its then-existing condition, and unconditionally release True North Basecamp from all liabilities, costs, expenses, claims, and damages arising from any accidents, injuries, deaths, or property damage—whether caused by the negligence of other guests, True North Basecamp, or conditions on the property.
By entering the property or any other property owned or controlled by True North Basecamp, guests agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless True North Basecamp from and against any actions, claims, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including attorney’s fees) arising out of or in connection with the presence or actions of the guest on the property.

The True North Basecamp website, including its booking system, applications, text, graphics, designs, audio and video clips, and all other content, is the property of True North Basecamp LLC dba True North Basecamp.
All trademarks, trade names, and service marks under the True North Basecamp name are owned by True North Basecamp LLC dba True North Basecamp and their respective owners and may not be used, reproduced, or modified without prior written approval.
