True North Basecamp Booking Policy

 

Reservation/Cancellation Guidelines Guarantee

To guarantee your cabin, cabin tent, and campsite, your credit card will be charged for the total stay when you make your reservation. You'll receive an email confirmation once your reservation is complete. 

 

Need to Cancel? Text 218-833-2267 or email info@truenorthbasecamp.com before the deadlines listed below to receive your refund, minus a cancellation fee. Cancellations are not final until a cancellation email is received.

Cabin, Campsite & Cabin Tent Sites: 14-day cancellation notice is required. Notify True North Basecamp by 4 p.m. CST 14 days before your arrival.

Reservations made after these deadlines are nonrefundable, and cancellations made after deadlines result in forfeiture payment. Holidays and special events may have special deposit and cancellation requirements. Special conditions may apply during high-demand periods and special events.

 

Gift Cards: True North Basecamp is not responsible for lost, damaged, or stolen cards. It cannot be redeemed for cash.

Occupancy: Cabins and cabin tents can accommodate a maximum of 5 people. Additional tents are not allowed near the cabins or cabin tents, and the tent site is limited to two 6-person tents.

 

Pet Policy: $25 per night per pet per cabin & cabin tent / $10 per night per pet per campsite and cabin tent (a limit of two 40 lbs. pets). Pets must be crated when left alone in cabins and cabin tents and at campsites. Pets must be leashed while in common areas. The credit card on file for the reservation will be charged $250 if any damage is caused by the pet(s).

Damage: You are liable for any damage caused to the cabin(s), cabin tent(s), or the premises or property caused by you or any persons/dog in your party (whether or not staying at True North Basecamp) during your stay. True North Basecamp reserves the right to retain your credit card and debit card details and charge or debit such amounts as it shall, in its sole discretion, deem fit on the said card(s) to compensate or make good the loss, damage, costs, or expenses incurred or suffered by True North Basecamp as a result of those above. Regardless, True North Basecamp further reserves the right to commence legal proceedings against you without notice.

 

Release of Liability: True North Basecamp guests, for themselves, and any of their registered children, agree as follows: True North Basecamp, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents (“Two Pols LLC dba True North Basecamp”) makes no warranty or representations of any type, kind of character, whatsoever, as to conditions existing or that may hereafter live upon the True North Basecamp Premises, including but not limited to cabins, tent cabins and campsites occupied by other guests or guests property (“True North Basecamp Property”). Guests enter upon the property at their own risk, expressly accept the property in its then-existing condition, and unconditionally release True North Basecamp from all liabilities, costs, expenses, claims, and damages for which True North Basecamp might otherwise become liable because of any accidents, or injuries to, or death of any persons including guests, or property damage, or both, in any manner arising or resulting from, caused by connected with, or related to the presence of any such person or property upon the property, regardless of how, where, or when such injury, death, or damage occurs, even if caused by the negligence of other guests, or True North Basecamp, or due to conditions on or defects in the Property or property of other guests.

By entering the property or any other property owned or controlled by True North Basecamp, guests agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless True North Basecamp from, against, and in respect of (I) any actions, causes of action, suits, claims, demands, judgments, proceedings, and investigation, of any kind whatsoever arising out of, because of, as a result of, or in connection with the presence of Guest on the Property; and (II) any liabilities, damages, losses, costs, expenses (including attorney’s fees and the expenses and disbursements of counsel), amounts of judgments, assessments, financial penalties and amounts paid in compromise of settlement, suffered, incurred, or sustained by True North Basecamp as a result of, because of, or in connection with the actions of Guest.
